In 2023, 2.9 billion US dollars worth of apartments were sold in Tbilisi, which is a 9.9% year-over-year increase despite the reduced number of transactions. This increase was caused by the prices in the primary market.

In 2023, 255 construction permits were issued in Tbilisi for a total residential area of 1.9 million m2 (+34.1% y/y).
